Recruiting Process
Kohler Co. is proud to have a thorough interview process that ensures every individual we hire is placed in a position that will take full advantage of his or her background and provide opportunities for future growth and development.

The following provides a general overview of the recruiting process at Kohler Co.:

  1. Résumé submitted
    All résumés for specific job openings must be submitted to Kohler Co. online. Candidates should apply to only those positions that fit their educational background and skill sets.
  2. Résumé reviewed
    Once a résumé is entered into our system, one of our HR Specialists will be notified and will review the resume. Those candidates who possess a background that best matched the position requirements will be contacted.
  3. Candidates screened by phone
    If you are identified as a candidate whose skill set and qualifications match the position requirements, you will be contacted by a Recruiter or HR Specialist to discuss your qualifications. The information obtained during this initial screening will determine whether or not you will be forwarded on for an interview.
  4. Candidates sent assessments
    Candidates whose skill set and qualifications match the position requirements may be asked to complete personality and aptitude assessments. The purpose of these assessments is to help ensure candidates are a good fit for the position as well as Kohler Co.
  5. Select candidates interviewed
    The primary purpose of an interview is to assess your ability to perform the functions of the job. The interview may contain one-on-one interviews, panel interviews and assessments.
  6. Candidates notified of hiring decision
    Once a decision has been made by the hiring manager, all candidates will be notified by e-mail or phone of the final decision.
